The Inönü stadium is located between the districts of Beşiktaş and Kabataş, on the European banks of Bosphorus. The stadium was renovated in 2004 and its capacity was increased to 32.086. It was chosen as the 4th best stadium in the world by The Times because of its magnificent location. The stadium was pulled down for the construction of the new stadium project which will be in service in 1,5 years.
